All our students arrived safely and even early this early summer morning in Auckland! For the parents/friends who are wondering, I will mention all our students by name:

After we picked up the students, we headed over to one of the many extinct volcanic cones in Auckland, Mount Eden. Julie and Jess, our lovely cooks, put together some hot chocolate and golden kiwis for our students to enjoy as we all stood and stretched our legs beholding an Auckland panorama. We were so early up to the Mount that we caught the sunrise in all its emerging summer glory.
Our next few days will look like some unpacking, some roommate picking, some really nice meals, and some porch sitting. We have a wonderful porch with nights lights for sitting around during drawn out evenings.
